A LITTLE ABOUT ME

 

I have over eighteen years of industry based experience across the graphic design and illustration field. Along side this career I have taught the same subjects at both university and college level. I am open to commission and look forwards to working on the next exciting project.

 

My professional Career began in 2008 when I began working on set of the Harry Potter films based at Leavesden Studios north of Watford. This was an invaluable experience for me working with Oscar award winning designers and professionals. This exposure to such a high level process of working hugely improved all aspects of my design practice and professional outlook which I still carry with me today. I then carried this experience forward into a successful freelance design career and have built up a great client list including Macy's New York, Nike, English Heritage, The British Library, Adnam's and many more. I have worked across many processes of graphic design including illustration, web/responsive, advertising, art direction, print and design.

 

 I pride myself not just on my commercial artwork but also my personal work which I often like to screen-print print by hand. I was selected by the independents arts review as one of the top ten illustrators in the U.K. My personal work has featured in Creative Review Illustration Annual. A selection of my work has also been featured in Now Illustration 4. I take an active roll in the UK's art scene. I have just recently exhibited at the Northern design festival alongside several other illustrators.
